What we build and how

What we build,
and how.

Every feature, in plain English. For each one: what it does, why it matters, how it works, what you give us, what you get, how long it takes and what it costs to try.

In one minute

Your team keeps WhatsApp.
We do the follow-up.

01

Nothing new to learn

Your staff keep using WhatsApp, email and voice notes. No new app.

02

Nothing gets lost

Every request and problem gets an owner and a deadline, and is chased until it is done.

03

You stay in charge

A person on your side approves every message before it goes out. Your data is not used to train our AI models.

The features · Edition: November 2026

Twelve things
we build.

01 · The core of every project

WhatsApp assistants

Reads the WhatsApp groups your teams already use. Every request, breakdown, photo and voice note becomes a task with a named owner and a deadline.

Why it matters

Today, things get buried in busy groups and nobody can read them all. Now nothing is forgotten, and you see everything in one daily summary.

How it works

  1. Our WhatsApp number joins the groups you choose.
  2. Each message is sorted and saved in your own private records.
  3. If nobody answers in time, a polite reminder is prepared.
  4. A person on your side approves every message before it goes out.

What you give us

Permission to add our number, the list of groups, and who to tell when things go wrong.

What you get

Every message recorded, a daily summary, reminders and a list of open tasks.

How long

Live in 2–4 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

A drilling contractor in Zimbabwe (sample): “Compressor on Rig C won’t start” becomes a job for the workshop, due in 4 hours. · made-up example

02 · Talk instead of type

Voice notes

Field staff can send a spoken WhatsApp message in English, Shona or Ndebele. It is written out in English and filed like any other report.

Why it matters

Many drivers and crews prefer to talk. Spoken reports are no longer lost or ignored.

How it works

  1. A driver records a voice note in the usual group.
  2. It is written out and translated into English.
  3. The key facts (truck, place, problem) are pulled out.
  4. The task is saved and the right person is told.

What you give us

Nothing extra. It works in the groups already connected.

What you get

Written versions of every voice note, filed against the right truck, site or job.

How long

Included from day one

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a 0:18 voice note in Shona, “truck won’t restart near Shurugwi”, opens a breakdown job with the truck number. · made-up example

03 · Stores assistant

Stores requests to orders

Turns stores requests from email or WhatsApp into clean draft orders. It matches each item to your stock list, spots repeat requests and checks stock.

Why it matters

Fewer duplicate orders, fewer missed requests, and a clear record of who asked for what.

How it works

  1. Stores emails are forwarded to us, or sent in a WhatsApp group.
  2. Each item is matched to your stock list.
  3. Repeats are combined and stock is checked.
  4. A draft order goes to your stores manager to approve and send.

What you give us

Your stock list, supplier list, who approves what, and the inbox to forward.

What you get

A list of all requests, repeat warnings, draft orders and a weekly stores summary.

How long

3–5 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: “4 × hydraulic hose for Rig B” was also asked for yesterday. The two are merged into one order. · made-up example

04 · Fleet assistant

Live fleet map

Shows every truck on a map of Zimbabwe, next to the drivers’ WhatsApp group. When a truck stops too long or runs late, it asks the driver why.

Why it matters

You know where every truck is and why it is late, without phoning anyone. Customers get honest arrival times.

How it works

  1. Truck positions come from your GPS tracking company every few minutes.
  2. Simple rules spot long stops, wrong routes and late trucks.
  3. The driver is asked on WhatsApp, and can reply by typing or talking.
  4. The answer and the new arrival time are recorded.

What you give us

Access to your GPS tracking company, the list of trucks and usual routes.

What you get

A live map, a list of problems, a record of each trip and a daily fleet summary.

How long

3–6 weeks (depends on your GPS company)

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a truck waits 35 minutes at Kwekwe. The driver says “weighbridge queue”, and the arrival time moves to 12:55. · made-up example

05 · With Google Maps

Harare route planner

Puts a day’s deliveries around Harare in the shortest order, then opens the route in Google Maps for the driver.

Why it matters

Less driving, less fuel and more drops per day. Drivers use the Google Maps app they already know.

How it works

  1. List the day’s drops, or send them on WhatsApp.
  2. The planner works out the shortest order from your depot.
  3. The driver gets one Google Maps link with every stop.
  4. Finished drops are ticked off in the group.

What you give us

Depot address, a typical day’s delivery list, and vehicle sizes.

What you get

A daily route plan per vehicle, a Google Maps link, and a record of completed drops.

How long

2–3 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: nine drops from a Msasa depot, put in the best order in one tap. Try it on the fleet page. · made-up example

06 · Fleet and workshop

Breakdown tracking

A breakdown message becomes a job with an owner and a deadline. Reminders go out on time, a manager is told if it slips, and the job closes when the fitter reports back.

Why it matters

Machines and trucks are back at work sooner, and you can see which ones keep failing.

How it works

  1. A driver or operator reports the problem, by text, photo or voice.
  2. A job is opened with an owner and a deadline.
  3. Reminders go out if there is no update.
  4. The job closes when the fix is confirmed.

What you give us

Equipment list, workshop contacts, and how fast each kind of fault must be fixed.

What you get

A breakdowns page, reminders, hours lost per machine and a monthly report.

How long

2–3 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a fuel pump fault at 07:48 has a fitter on the way from Gweru by 07:55, and the load moved to another truck. · made-up example

07 · Output assistant

Drilling and production records

Turns shift reports into a daily output report: metres per rig per shift and lost time. Or tonnes, litres and hectares in other industries.

Why it matters

No more retyping shift reports into spreadsheets. Numbers that look wrong are questioned the same day.

How it works

  1. Supervisors send their usual shift report, typed or spoken.
  2. The numbers are picked out and saved.
  3. Odd or missing numbers are queried.
  4. A daily and weekly report is ready for you.

What you give us

Rig or machine list, shift pattern, your current tracking sheet and targets.

What you get

Output records, a page per rig and shift, lost-time totals and a weekly spreadsheet.

How long

2–4 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: “Rig A night shift 64 m, bit changed at 40 m” becomes a row in the metres report. · made-up example

08 · Photo gallery and lab

Drone and crop photo checks

Looks at drone and field photos of stockpiles, pits, dams and crops, and writes a short note on what it sees and what has changed.

Why it matters

Problems like pests, low dams or a growing stockpile are spotted early, and every flight is filed by site and date.

How it works

  1. Send photos on WhatsApp or upload them.
  2. Each photo is checked and described in plain words.
  3. Notes are saved by site and date so changes can be compared.
  4. Anything worrying is flagged to the right person.

What you give us

Drone or phone photos (or flights through your drone operator), site boundaries and what to watch for.

What you get

A short note per flight, a history per site and flagged problems. Honest limit: one photo gives a rough size only; exact volumes need a proper survey.

How long

2–4 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a tobacco field photo shows yellowing lower leaves. The note suggests checking for nitrogen shortage. Try the sample photos in the lab. · made-up example

09 · Farm and milk assistants

Farming and milk supply

Season reminders for tobacco and maize, crop photo checks, and milk supply: litres per farm, chillers at 4 °C or colder, and tanker routes.

Why it matters

Fewer missed jobs in the season, less spoiled milk, and quick warnings when something goes wrong.

How it works

  1. Farm staff report in WhatsApp, with photos where useful.
  2. Litres and chiller temperatures come from messages or sensors.
  3. Simple rules raise alerts, for example a warm chiller.
  4. You get a daily farm or milk summary.

What you give us

Farm or collection-centre list, season calendar and chiller and tanker details.

What you get

A season page, crop notes, litres records and chiller alerts.

How long

3–6 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a chiller reads 7 °C during a power cut. The centre manager is told at once and the generator is checked. · made-up example

10 · Safety assistant

Safety

Records incidents and near-misses, checks safety gear in photos, and drafts short safety talks and weekly safety summaries.

Why it matters

A complete safety record without extra paperwork, ready for audits.

How it works

  1. Staff report incidents or send site photos.
  2. Photos are checked against your safety gear rules.
  3. Each incident is saved with how serious it is and what was done.
  4. Your safety officer approves the drafts.

What you give us

Your safety gear rules, incident types and safety contacts.

What you get

An incident and near-miss record, photo checks, safety talk drafts and a weekly report.

How long

2–4 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a site photo shows a worker without a hard hat. The safety officer gets a short note to follow up. · made-up example

11 · Built for Zimbabwe

Works through power cuts and poor signal

Built for ZESA power cuts and weak 3G. WhatsApp and voice notes go in, light pages come out. It can also track generator hours and diesel.

Why it matters

The system keeps working when your site has no power or signal.

How it works

  1. Everything runs in the cloud, not on your site.
  2. Pages are small and load on 3G.
  3. Messages wait and are processed when the signal returns.
  4. Generator and diesel reports are tracked like any other report.

What you give us

Your sites and generators, and how you track diesel today.

What you get

Pages that load on 3G, plus a generator and diesel record if you want it.

How long

Included; generator tracking 1–2 weeks

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.

Sample: a site is offline for three hours. Its reports arrive and are filed as soon as signal returns. · made-up example

Private dashboard

One private web page across all your sites: open tasks, orders, output, trucks, breakdowns and safety. Each person sees only what their role allows.

Why it matters

Managers see the whole business in one place, without asking for reports.

How it works

  1. Your records are kept in a private database just for you.
  2. Each person signs in and sees only their part.
  3. Totals update through the day.
  4. Anything can be downloaded as a spreadsheet.

What you give us

The list of users and their roles, and the numbers you care about most.

What you get

A live dashboard, role-based access, downloads and a weekly email summary.

How long

2–4 weeks (with your first feature)

Cost to try

A 30-day pilot on one site. Quote on scoping, in writing, in US dollars.
