Mark Cochrane spent years in gold drilling and field operations across Australia and Zimbabwe — AngloGold Ashanti, remote rig logistics, supply coordination, and practical problem-solving in tough environments.

After years building lightweight automation and reporting tools (often on WhatsApp) to help teams see problems sooner, he founded AfriLoop to solve the origination and workflow bottleneck with purpose-built AI systems for African SMEs.
